Michael De Pasquale is a photographer based in Brooklyn, New York. Raised in upstate New York, and first trained by his father, Michael began his formal studies of photography in London, before graduating to The Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California. Since relocating to New York in 2005, Michael has worked with some of the city’s most reputable names.
Michael's personal work explores the lost moments of life. The offbeat when the tide recesses and all is revealed. The moments when the guests have gone home and the maids quietly clean.
He finds inspiration in observation, watching and searching for the ongoing compromise of repugnance and beauty that makes up our lives.
